Ever DIY booked a monthlong tour for a band? If you answered no, then you probably (a) love yourself and (b) tend to abstain from exercises in futility, neglect and self-abuse. I began the process of booking our March tour on Nov 27th, and have reached out to around 100 clubs all over the US and Canada. Guess how many have responded! I’ll be gracious and say 20. It’s probably more like 15, but my Inbox is too convoluted these days to get an accurate count. 8 of those were places we played on our last tour who are over the moon to have us back b/c we put on a hell of a show and are courteous and professional in our dealings. With venues’ calendars quickly filling up things are heading into “I guess we’ll have some days off in the second half” territory, which sucks because we all put our lives, careers and certainly income on hold to do this. So I do everything in my power to make sure we’re wringing every drop out of it. We’re at the annoying point of our audience starting to grow rapidly and needing to be in front of them often, but not having the proper support let alone finances to make that a simple task.

There are some town that I have completely given up on. But If you are in the following cities and know bookers, promoters or bands [somewhat near our genres of punk, pop/punk, Celtic or harder folk/bluegrass] that you could hook me up with, I’d greatly appreciate it as we’d really still love to hit ‘em. As with any industry, having a somewhat personal connection tends to result in….well, results. Otherwise, just drop a line and encourage me to keep plugging away.

Oh, if you’ve never heard us, please check out our super-professional and very easy to digest and consider with only 30 seconds of effort EPK. Are we something of a niche market? Perhaps at first glance, but not if you actually know music. Are there TONS of bands we’d be great on a bill with? Absolutely. But if you think the various musical outlets are overrun with shitty, screamy, over-produced quasi metal made by overly tattooed but also beyond effeminately coiffed and Proactiv’d bags of bones, you should try looking at NEARLY EVERY NIGHT on NEARLY EVERY VENUE’S calendar for the upcoming FOREVER. Tons of bands closer to our wheelhouse are still kicking up dust and there’s plenty of demand for it, but it’s crowbarred in and competition is stuff to say the least.

Thank you for your time and don’t let your babies grow up to be musicians!
